About DIBBZ
DIBBZ is a Rapper/MC based in Leicester/Leicestershire originally born in Lincoln/Lincolnshire.
He also spent 2 years in Birmingham.
He has been on the music scene since 2011 and have done many shows and projects.
He Competed in Leicester’s Best MC back in 2011/14 which was hosted by Bizzi Dixon who runs the label BME(Bad Music Entertainment) who has also done community projects for 2Funky Arts one of them being called Words Without Weapons.
His first ever song he made had mixed reviews but gave him a foundation to build upon his skills as an artist.
Back in 2012/13 he managed to work with a select group of artist’s on quite a few songs then in 2014/15 he helped create a group called TEAMFLEX which is ran by fellow Asian rapper ALI FLEX.
The group has been going ever since and always gotten stronger.
For five years straight he has done performances at the Leicester Belgrave Mela.
In 2014 he performed at his first ever Asian event called the Vaisakhi Show aswell as the Loughborough Mela in 2014.
In 2014 he performed at the Luton Mela and the St Albians Mela in 2015.
In 2017 he competed in talent quest in Luton and he made it to the second round.
In 2017 he performed for City Link Up in Camden Town.
Quite a few of the songs he had vocaled have been produced, Mixed and Mastered by the one of Leicester’s Hip Hop Legends Jedi AKA Shaun Bailey.
He has also recorded songs at Clarence Street Studios & HQ Studio’s Leicester songs of which can be found on his YouTube Channel and all Major Streaming Platforms.
He Also recorded at Hot Jam Studios in Loughborough and Birmingham Studio’s based in Birmingham City.
He has been air played on 3 radio stations such as 2Funky Radio, BBC Radio Leicester & Takeover Radio Leicester.
He Has done Local Performances at various local venue’s such as Open Mic nights at the Shed and The Sound House.
He performed on the 02 Academy Leicester Stage twice which was an incredible experience for him.
This year he became part of 2 up and coming new record label’s called FLEXSQUAD RECORDS INTL. LTD and TEAMFLEX RECORDINGS LTD TEAMFLEX also became part of them aswell.
